June Newsletter

Dear Friends,

Just a quick note to start of the news of June.

In the end there was not time to expand on some of the subject mentioned in the May newsletter.

PFEC 2007

The organisation is coming along OK. We have arranged all the meet and greet business. We had to swap some daytrips around, but finally everything has fallen into place.
We have an interesting experiment at the annual meeting beside the traditional tombola: an auction for charity. If it works well, we will keep this item on for our next annual meeting.

Dutch flowerstamps

Rolf Löbering warned me about the Dutch flowerstamps that have a sticker on them sealing a mini package of flower seeds.
Be careful with soaking. In a later edition I will write down how to go about getting these off paper without damage. I shall also show you the results of careless handling.

Question of the month

Jim Calkins warned me about some US stamps that deteriorate when you try to soak them.
Any suggestions on the best way to handle these?

Best regards,

Pierre
